The scheduled appointment time is reserved for the individual who has made the appointment. This means that the therapist or service provider is setting aside that time exclusively for the client.

If the client needs to cancel their appointment, they are required to provide at least 24 hours' notice. This advance notice allows the therapist to potentially fill the vacated time slot with another client.

If the client fails to cancel their appointment at least 24 hours in advance, they may be subject to a charge. This charge is likely intended to compensate the therapist for the time that could have been allocated to another client.
